Last Sunday, I drove like a bat out of hell from my Sharing Foundation board meeting in New Hampshire to my computer so I could log in to the RootsCampSL session on "U sing Machinima for Social Change and Political Action." Machinima (muh-sheen-eh-mah). It includes pointers to good examples and excellent tutorials.

When people talk about museum projects in Second Life and other virtual worlds, I'm often disappointed by the short-sightedness of the vision. This week, a quick example of how each is possible. It's a machinima (video) by Robbie Dingo, a 3D recreation of Van Gogh's Starry Night.
