This is a lovely example of a museum using its expertise to support and extend visitor interests, rather than lecturing or completely ceding control to visitors. The Minnesota state fair is a huge event—it’s the biggest state fair in the country. It’s not enough to say someone’s famous, that you like spam. Everyone comes out.
