Last week Kivi wrote about “ newsjacking ” the technique of piggy backing on a crisis to get more media attention. Kivi got a call from a newspaper in Dallas writing about the nonprofit marketing angle. I had planned for that edition to be a longer article on using photography, but I cut that back and led with Komen.
