Saving the California Condor: A Collective Impact Story

After a contentious and much-publicized debate, the decision was made to capture all remaining wild condors and bring them to the San Diego and Los Angeles Zoos for captive breeding. An ornithologist and manager at the San Diego Zoo, he was involved in the conservation effort for many years and was a proponent of captive breeding.
