Patrick is working with a UN human rights project. According to news reports Chebeya was found dead in his car early the next morning.

Increasingly, rape of women is being used as a tool of war, not just in large scale wars as we saw in the Serbian and Bosnian conflict, but as we saw recently in Kenya and in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I think my comment in The Nation was really more about that. I think that is what really motivates me to do this work.
