First trip to China

I'm now on my first-ever trip to mainland China, thanks to the Hadley School for the Blind twentieth anniversary of their China school. nonprofit to have a China branch, but truly amazing that it's been there for twenty years. It's impressive what people in Hong Kong have done with their tiny patch of China.

China Braille Press

Beneblog: Technology Meets Society

The China Braille Press was another impressive visit. The software they use was apparently written at the Press. We also got to visit (on the same campus), the Braille library, which was full of thousands of volumes of Braille. Apparently, the Sino-Japanese war in the 1930s started nearby, at the Marco Polo Bridge.
