In the case of J-FLAG, Martus enables the organization to protect the identity of victims of abuse who come forward to tell their stories, to secure the information from their interviews, to report on the types of crimes documented, and to aggregate evidence for future court proceedings. We are poised to grow not only Bookshare.org, but all of our projects. The project has been so successful at raising student reading skills that they hope to provide similar services to their non-disabled students as well. Miradi Bookshare.org isn't our only project undergoing significant growth. We've just launched Miradi.

From there, I ended up going to the Burma-Thai border and working with women refugees who had fled the ethnic cleansing under the Burmese dictatorship. I actually started out with International Studies, and more academic.
