Basically, a couple months before your book's release you contact bloggers, podcasters and vloggers whose audiences are a good fit for your book and ask them if they would like to interview you, review your book, have you guest post, or host an interactive event with you using a service like Gabbly. The winner gets a Flip Video camera.

My new favorite TV show (in addition to The Mentalist ) is 4REAL hosted by Sol Guy. I was particularly moved by an interview with one Stanley Hotel resident, a heroin addict, who said, "I wish people had a better understanding of the kind of people we are, 'cause we're not animals, and we're not contagious.
