I had a healthy second life as a slam poet, and I loved the world of artists and performance. In DC, I worked half-time for NASA as an electrical engineer and half-time for the Capital Children's Museum (now defunct) as a science educator. There is lots of room for new voices online. So I packed up and moved down the East Coast.
