Participants raise money from their friends and family to support them in completing the walk or run. Parkinson’s Nebraska used the walk concept to inspire their Walk the State fundraiser, which asked participants to communally walk the distance it would take to cross the state of Nebraska. Maybe they’re artistic challenges.
