I live in Google applications (Gmail, Google Reader, Calendar, etc.) You can browse or search the docs from the little drop-down window. This allows me to keep this info in sync across my computers via Dropbox without actually exposing the sensitive content unnecessarily. I'm a developer wannabe at best.

When Gmail came out a few years ago, I read the raves from other NpTechers. In one of my workshops recently, I talked about online web applications -- the value and benefits as well as the drawbacks. Why is that I could easily make the switch from PowerPoint to SlideShare -- from Word to Google Docs from Excel to Google Spreadsheets?
