Someone like my Mom who uses her not-the-latest-and-greatest computer for email and web surfing and keeping track of her finances and buying stuff on Amazon. Yes, the iPad has its own iTunes store and Mom can manage her email and contacts in the iPad without syncing because she uses Gmail. It's for the casual consumer.

3 Gmail accounts, no problem. If that’s not enough, I can also shop the Amazon app store since my phone is supported and grab their daily free app. I’ve been getting my magazines digitally since 2004. I was pleased to discover that every magazine I subscribe to is available through the Android app.

Magazines: Can't afford subscriptions, but when you get offers for your extra miles. Right now I have wired and runners magazine.
