A short time after she took over a small troubled computer refurbishment nonprofit - hurricane Katrina hit. When she ran the Nature Conservancy in Louisiana, 200,000 acres were set aside. They came from Alaska, from ad agencies on Madison Avenue, from everywhere. Their volunteers already do trainings in the libraries.
