Hunger is a global issue that affects everyone, everywhere. A couple of weeks ago, we announced our first cohort on Zero Hunger, focusing on food insecurity in the United States. But as we know, getting to Zero Hunger will take collaboration from all regions, with multiple approaches to address the contributing factors.

For inspiration, I had to look no further than the " On the Road: Tanzania ," a video blog from the UN World Food Programme. They are using FLIP Cameras and Camtasia editing software to product a series of videos of their deep field work in Africa. The video bloggers Marcus Prior their spokesperson from East Africa.

My colleague, Stacey Monk , founder of Epic Change and one of the pioneers of peer-to-peer fundraising efforts incorporating social media, shared this NPR story about a Kickstarter Campaign by a Gideon , 15 year old boy who is from in Tanzania Africa. At age 7, he knew his passion was space and wanted to be a rocket ship pilot.
