My husband and I adopted two beautiful children, Harry and Sara, from Cambodia. But, also felt sad when thought of the many children in Cambodia who would not have the same opportunities as our children do. The Sharing Foundation's mission is to help meet the physical, emotional, educational and medical needs of orphaned and seriously disadvantaged children in Cambodia. Beth is on the Board of the Foundation, and she and her husband have two children, Harry and Sara, who were adopted as orphans from Cambodia.

Sharing Foundation Khmer Literacy Program. Roger Carr has written a wonderful post about the Sharing Foundation's Khmer Literacy School. I took that photo back in 2004 when I had the opportunity to visit Cambodia and observe all programs for a week. Is that cool - the literacy school is green! Everyday Giving Blog.

Although Vietnam is regarded as a developing country, it has a literacy rate of 94 percent. The foundation's mission is to help bring about shared prosperity and a sustainable future to all ASEAN countries, which comprise Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
