Since Adobe seems to update Acrobat weekly, this message seems plausible. Some quick indicators that it isn't real: I get updates through the installed Adobe Updater, not as email messages. It lists an Adobe office in Canada, whereas the company is based in California. Text: INTRODUCING UPGRADED ADOBE ACROBAT READER 2012.

The continuing saga of the new T400S

After transferring my data and software using Laplink (and after figuring out that I had to decrypt my files first) I found that everything was owned by some mystery account. I couldn't access my files or apps from my account or the Administrator account. Some of the hardest problems have been getting Adobe products to install.
