We keep going because the very definition of philanthropy, perhaps even of the nonprofit sector, is love of humankind — people helping people. We saw hunger, homelessness, broken healthcare systems, exhausted teachers, and mental health issues explode in front of our eyes — and we felt it all. But we kept going. We all keep going.

It is the part of the “Give While You Live” philanthropy being championed by some of the world’s wealthiest people. Today is ThankYouWednesday because it was a huge success, including financial with 52% increase in giving.

Several Twitter social change users started to urge others in the community to do something. The team uses social media, twitter to initiate community generosity projects.
