Ushahidi entered our legendary third NetSquared Mashup Challenge in Santa Clara, California in May 2008. " Ushahidi won the challenge in 2008, receiving $25,000 to support and expand its work. Ushahidi's David Kobia was named Humanitarian of the Year in 2010 by the MIT Technology Review.
