Ushahidi has been developing open-source crisis mapping software for over eight years now. The Louisiana Bucket Brigade (LABB), for instance, has used Ushahidi to document the impacts of oil spills and other petrochemical pollution on human health and the environment. These folks do astonishing work. So much innovation.
