Most creatives and knowledge workers who are not developers. Adding a new printer is facilitated by a few different things hplip, cups, ghostscript, and gutenprint/gimpprint. It’s just dead easy to use Linux for development – easier than using the Mac, even though it has BSD as it’s basis.
