With Screen Steps, I can easily edit the file to replace an image or rewrite a step. If someone prefers to create a Word file rather than a Google Doc, that's fine.

Try Google Docs. When I explained to her that she didn’t have to use her thumb drive to transfer the file from one computer to her school computer — she just had to login to Google — she loved it. I am a big believer in&# cloud computing &# or “ software as a service &# or whatever you want to call it.

Museum 2.0

This spring, I was a member of the advisory board for the New Media Consortium's 2008 Horizon Report on emerging technologies in museums. This ability to organize content segments, like moving post-its around on a table, makes wikis more useful than other collaborative document creation tools like Google Docs.
