The “Ghosts of a Chance” alternate reality game (ARG) ran from July 18 until October 25, 2008 and was a collaboration between the Smithsonian American Art Museum and CityMystery. The eye images were posted to the site, and the incantations were layered over the top of each other in an ever-growing audio file. The game website is here.
