The Government of British Columbia announced applications are now open for the Capital Project Grants program. The grants provide $5 million annually to not-for-profit organizations throughout B.C., to support the completion of inclusive, accessible capital projects that meet community-identified needs and priorities.

Application Deadline:  August 3, 2023.

Award Notification Date: December 31, 2023.

Organization Eligibility: Not-for-profit organizations that provide programs or services that benefit the community, who are completing a capital project intended to enhance quality of life in their community.

Project Eligibility: Capital projects that demonstrate public accessibility and widespread community benefit. Projects must fall into one of the four project categories (facilities, community infrastructure, acquisitions and repatriation) and must have a total cost of $20,000 to $1,250,000.

Grant Amount: Funding may be provided up to a maximum of $250,000; providing between 20 and 50 percent of the total estimated project cost.
