Summary: This session provides an overview of the REAL Xchange and the Knowledge Transfer and Translation Hub, a platform offering free resources for staff in the not-for-profit sector. One of the engagement pillars for the REAL Xchange is the Mentorship Pillar – an initiative that provides an opportunity to help break down barriers through knowledge exchange. Knowledge Transfer through Mentorship, via the REAL Xchange, can connect you with experienced leaders in the sector to learn about best practices and success stories, and access practical tools to accelerate positive change, within yourselves and your organizations.

About the presenters

Amanda MastronardiProject Manager, REAL Xchange KTT, Community Living Essex County
Amanda has over 16 years experience in the Developmental Services sector, serving in a variety of roles within Community Living Essex County including Project Management, Human Resources, Administration, and Direct Supports. Amanda graduated from the University of Windsor and holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and later graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce, Honours Business Administration degree from the Odette School of Business. With these varied positions and experienced perspectives, Amanda understands the critical need and significance of knowledge translation, giving people applicable information and resources they require, and helping to bridge the knowledge gap that often exists across the sector.
