Jim holds a deep understanding and respect for behavioural sciences, data collection, and applied research and pairs that with a unique combination of communication skills allowing him to connect easily with everyone from kindergarten students to CEOs. He has a particular talent for making otherwise complicated subjects simple to understand and approachable. These talents support him on his professional mission to improve people’s health and happiness wherever they work, learn, or play. Currently, Jim Moss is the Executive Director of YMCA WorkWell, a new initiative by the YMCA of Three Rivers focused on improving workplace well-being. YMCA WorkWellworks with purpose-driven organizations across Canada helping them collect employee feedback, interpret and action insights, deliver training, coaching, and consulting to create lasting positive changes in the workforce. After receiving her MBA in Strategic Management and Public Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University, Lisa held progressive roles at Deloitte and Hewlett-Packard. Lisa has been recognized by the Urban Land Institute as one of Canada’s Top 100 Women for her work in leadership, employment, and city building. She has also be named as one of Career Professionals of Canada’s Outstanding Career Leader.

With a successful career in the corporate sector under her belt, Lisa realized that she wanted to focus fulltime on shaping the Future of Work and Canada’s approach to career development. She founded Challenge Factory and the Centre for Career Innovation to make her passion a reality, and quickly got to work helping her clients find creative solutions to today’s most pressing career and workforce challenges. A key part of Lisa’s success is her ability to blend together a variety of disciplines—including scientific inquiry, career and identity theory, and military crisis management—to identify the best pathways through crisis, disruption, and uncertainty.

Lisa is the co-author of The Talent Revolution: Longevity and the Future of Work, The Canadian Guide to Hiring Veterans, and author of the Career Development and the Future of Work: A Conversation Guide, and the Retain and Gain series of career management playbooks for small businesses, non-profits and charities, and the public sector. Her expertise is widely recognized in The Globe and Mail, The Wall Street Journal, CBC, TVO, and other major outlets. Lisa is an Associate Fellow at the National Institute on Ageing, Ryerson University, and sits on the Boards of Directors of the Canadian Special Operations Forces Regiment Association and CERIC. She is a member of the Canadian Council for Career Development’s Standards and Guidelines stakeholder committee, and a representative for Team Canada with the International Centre for Career Development and Public Policy.

Deborah is also a dedicated volunteer. She has served in numerous leadership roles in non-profits and has served on the boards of many organizations. Deborah has also completed the Institute of Corporate Directors Not for Profit Governance Essentials course and is a popular speaker and writer in the areas of leadership search, retention, and sustainability. She is also a member of the prestigious Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants and currently sits on the Our Place Peel Board of Directors.

As a governance, leadership and culture specialist, Maryann knows successful organizations create and nurture a climate where everyone understands their role; politics are minimal; engagement is high and turnover low. Environments where employees co-create the roadmap to mission delivery. Compassion, kindness, and a deep commitment to collaborative and productive workplaces are core to her work.

Maryann has participated on many social profit boards and committees and her first book Tarnished: Let’s rethink, reimagine and co-create a new social impact sector was published by Civil Sector Press in 2021. Maryann earned her master’s in organizational leadership.

Veronica is known to be a challenger of the status quo, with an ability to influence and create practices that are people-centric—to ultimately foster and celebrate diverse and inclusive workspaces.

From 1999 to 2010 as the Head of Human Resources for UNICEF Canada–the Canadian arm of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)—Veronica’s responsibilities covered all aspects of human resources strategy and planning; organizational development; change management leadership; people and operations management; volunteer development; facilities management; corporate operations and warehouse logistics. 

As the Manager and subsequent VP of Human Resources at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, and through 11 years of increased responsibilities, she successfully contributed to developing the role and credibility of the Human Resources function through integrated planning, resulting in centralized management systems and processes. 

The early years of Veronica’s career—1984 to 1988—were spent in the financial services industry where she acquired and honed her accounting and business management knowledge. 

Veronica is a Member of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee with Whitby Chamber of Commerce, she has contributed as a columnist and currently, as an e-Learning subject matter expert to CharityVillage; served as a Board member for the HR Council for the Voluntary & Non-Profit Sector; served as a member of HRPA’s Resource Centre Advisory Board and with the Girl Guides of Canada’s National Human Resources Committee and, currently serves as President of the Scarborough Ladies Volleyball Association. 

Veronica holds various certifications including: Leadership Circle Profile™, Six Sigma Green Belt, Predictive Index™ (PI) Analyst & Facilitator, Career & Life Options Retirement Coach and a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) with a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (Seneca College) and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (York University).
