CharityVillage has been proud to partner with the Diversity Institute (DI) at Toronto Metropolitan University to advance equity, diversity and inclusion in Canada’s workforce, and share easy-to-apply best practices and tools for organizations like yours.
Part of this work has been through the federal government’s 50 – 30 Challenge, in which DI is an ecosystem partner. The voluntary code encourages organizations across sectors to advance gender parity (50% women and/or non-binary people) and increase diversity (30% other equity-deserving groups) on boards and/or in senior leadership roles. The 50 – 30 Challenge ecosystem partners have created the What Works Toolkit and other resources, to support this process and share other learnings through events and webinars like our The 50-30 Challenge in the Nonprofit Sector Webinar, CharityVillage Connects: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Canada’s Nonprofit Sector Podcast Episode, and at the CharityVillage Conference & Awards.
To help measure the impact of this work and understand where there’s an opportunity for growth, we’re writing today to ask you to share your experience through the DI’s 50 – 30 Challenge Survey! This will only take 2-3 minutes and is completely anonymous.
Thank you so much for taking the time and for your continued collaboration in building a stronger and more inclusive Canadian economy.
