The Foundation for Black Communities announced a groundbreaking $9.1 million investment in 107 Black-Led organizations through the Black Ideas Grant (B.I.G): Bridge and Build 2023/24 program.  The investment will empower Black-led, Black-focused, and Black-serving grassroots, nonprofit, and charitable organizations across Canada by supporting critical, community-based, solution-oriented initiatives. The Foundation for Black Communities’ Black Ideas Grant (B.I.G): Bridge and Build Program provides organizations with flexible one-year grants to help bolster their capacity and program delivery, with a focus on combating anti-Black racism, improving social outcomes, and enhancing economic outcomes for Black Canadians.
