Robert Half released the Examining the Multigenerational Workforce report, which reveals the key factors organizations need to know about today’s multigenerational workforce. The primary factor that organizations should acknowledge is compensation matters across the board, employees, regardless of age, value competitive salaries with regular merit increases. Generation Z prefers to choose when and where they work and value flexible working policies. There are rising concerns that artificial intelligence will impact the labour market and make jobs obsolete, with 78% of Gen Z professionals expressing concern about AI impacting their job, while only 27% of baby boomers perceive this to be an issue. Deal breakers are similar across the board, with all generations ranking unreasonable job responsibilities and poor transparency.
