Cresa released the 2023 Canadian Nonprofit Benchmark Report, which highlights key trends in the nonprofit workplace amidst the current economic environment. These trends include navigating remote and hybrid work, as well as new tactics leadership teams are adopting for the future. According to the study, nonprofits are reporting that about one-third (32.1%) of employees work remotely, skewing higher than national averages in other sectors. Additionally, 65.5% of respondents claim their organization has attempted to cut down any or all of its office space since March 2020, with about two-thirds (69.4%) of respondents also having increased concerns about inflation.
