The Women’s Philanthropy Institute released the Moving Money and Shifting Power for Social Justice: Voices of Wealthy Next-Gen Donors report, which explores how wealthy young donors are engaging in social justice philanthropy. The report provides insight into how donors practice philanthropy to support social justice, with a focus on the following three verticals: motivations, behaviours, and challenges. The Institute interviewed 28 current and alumni members of Resource Generation – a membership community of wealthy young adults committed to equity and wealth redistribution. The report was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The study was conducted in the United States, however, the findings are applicable to the Canadian market. Click here to read the report.
