If you'd like to become familiar with EPA's WebEx platform before the event, try out a WebEx test session , which will set up your computer for WebEx and let you try out the interface. WebEx recommends that registrants use Internet Explorer as their browser, if possible.

These products are ones like Zoom, WebEx, and GoToMeeting. – should be able to connect with a member of the video interviewing platform’s support team for a test interview to make sure everything is set up for a successful interview before “the real thing” begins.

Perhaps if DimDim were also to release a version that integrated with Skype … I can’t figure out from looking around their site whether it is cross-platform enough to share desktops, but I signed up for the beta, so I guess I’ll test it out. I’m hoping to test it out soon, as well.

We've been using it for presentations to prospective users, training sessions, as well as testing and walkthru sessions with clients. Prior to trying out GoToMeeting , we had evaluated and used to other Web-based meeting tools, WebEx and Avecomm. For example, Webex provides a "WhiteBoard" for setting up the meeting agenda on.

Tools like WebEx, GoToMeeting , and ReadyTalk are all optimized for the small screen. If you have a morbid curiosity on how addicted you actually are, you can take the Center For Internet Addiction Test , a 20-question online diagnostic tool that will give you the bad news. All social media is utterly native to mobile devices.

Tech Support told me that Webex uses a non-standard wmv format that does not import properly into Camtasia. Here are my testing notes. One other option might be a different web conference system whose screen and audio recording features output to wmv or a format that can brought into Camtasia. What do you think?
