In Taiwan, the recycling rate for IT equipment and appliances combined is 82. Japan has a structured system based on their Law for the Recycling of Specified Kinds of Home Appliances and their Law for Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources. There are no legal structures for electronics recycling in Africa yet. Just thought I'd take a look at the state of electronics recycling around the world to see how we're doing. World Snapshot.

This kind of engagement ladder provides a structured framework for participation without overly constraining how people get involved.
