I got 4 versions of this today. It’s not totally lame — it uses Intuit’s logo at the top. But the language is awkward enough that I hope anyone would think twice before clicking.
All 4 versions had the same sender: Intuit Payroll Services (intuitpayroll@e.payroll.intuit.com)
The subjects were:
Important QuickBooks Update
QuickBooks Security Update
Urgent: QuickBooks Update
QuickBooks Update: Urgent
The text was the same on all 4:
You will not be able to access your Intuit QuickBooks without updated Intuit Security Tool (ISTâ„¢) after 31th of August, 2012.
You can update Intuit Security Tool here.
After a successful download please run the setup for an automatic installation, then login to Intuit Quickbooks online to check that it is working properly.
