Embed Powerpoint Slides as Flash Presentations in your Blog without Spending a Dime , I just had to try it. I exported the slides a jpg because I didn't have enough bandwidth to upload the pngs as batch without the upload bombing. I found that I don't like reading a script word for word, so what works for me is bullet points.

They threw themselves into writing scripts and filming, gathering costume pieces, and otherwise doing much more in 24 hours than I would have thought possible. The audio-visual crew did a top-notch job juggling all the video, countdown clocks, slides, props and miking, adding to the sense that this social media stuff is really big-time.

I wasn't as smooth as I would have liked swtiching between my "scripted" remarks and incorporating people's questions in the chat line. No problem.

I take the approach of scripting the broad "moves" in the presentation but not the specific words. Others prefer to script the words and memorize. Use slides as a springboard, not a lifeboat. Don't read your slides. Find your own best way to get intimately familiar with your presentation. Don't look to them as a lifeline.
