I recently posted a notice that Google is limiting its free online donation service to Google grant recipients. Subsequently, TechSoup member schobert suggested checking out Razoo for Nonprofits. I looked at the service and spoke with Razoo’s CEO, Sebastian Traeger, last week and learned the following:
- Razoo is using Guidestar to list nonprofits and using Network for Good to process donations. They’re providing far more services than the Guidestar donation page. Organizations can modify their Web pages, including changing the look and feel and add videos.
- Members of the public can also change an organization’s page. I’m not sure that many organizations will see this as beneficial. However, an organization can request administrative access and lock its page.
