New at the NTC : StoryTeller’s Workshop

Every year, we do our best to offer more opportunities to learn and connect at the NTC, and this year is no different. We’ve recruited two rock star storytelling, social media experts, Michaela Hackner and Roger Burks , to head up a 2 hour workshop on Wednesday, March 16 (the night before the official kick-off of the NTC) from 6 - 8 pm. Storytellers are responsible for their 11NTC registration, and must be registered for the conference to participate in the workshop.

Despite the tough economic times, it seems the community is really excited about the 2009 NTC. So, inspired by a little tweet from Beth Kanter , we're excited to announce a special fundraising drive to bring more folks to the NTC: we're going to raise $10,000 for an NTC Scholarship fund by February 28. Amping Up the Awesome Means Making the NTC More Accessible

What does this have to do with the NTC? We want to make this as easy for you as possible, so if you missed one of the final Early Bird tickets and your nonprofit budget is too small to cover the regular registration costs, here are a couple of other ways you can still come to the NTC: Apply for a scholarship.
