Chris Brogan...

Hi Beth-- I like the thinking that went into this piece. I think I'll write about it in depth at lifehack.org (one of my million projects), but I wanted to say that you've hit on something when you mention that wikis are kind of scary for non wiki users. Should we have used something "smoother" like BackPack? Probably.

I'm glad you wrote this post. It's brought me awareness of all the great stuff you're capturing here.

Thanks for this, Beth. Immensely helpful! I don't see the need to limit your suggestions to "Nonprofit Gatherings." I think they are equally helpful for association meetings and the private sector.

I found this entry from John Smith's feed in CPSquare, and immediately posted on my blog (listed above under trackbacks), CollaboratioNation.com This is good stuff.
best,
Seth

Hi, Beth

I'm with Seth -- I think your tips can apply to any kind of gathering.

It seems to me that event planners should start routinely planning in advance to capture and extend the energy and creativity that often happens at conferences and other gatherings.

I've just expanded on your thoughts (and recommended your article) at one of the blogs I contribute to, "Capture the Conversation"

Whadya think?
