The Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention (ASAAP) is undertaking two national needs assessments for capacity building of social and health care providers who serve LGBTQ+ South Asian, Middle Eastern, and Indo-Caribbean people.

The results of the two needs assessment will assist the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Project (SOGI) in developing and implementing a culturally effective curriculum that support service providers in providing affirming care for SAMEIC LGBTQ+ people. This project is funded by the Women and Gender Equality Canada.

The two national needs assessments are:

  • Service Provider survey: eligible participants are social and health care providers. The survey is available in English and French. The service provider survey’s link:  https://linktr.ee/ServiceProviderSurvey
  • Service User survey: eligible participants identify as South Asian, Middle Eastern, or Indo-Caribbean LGBTQ+ people who are residing in Canada and are 18 years old or older. The survey is available in English, French, Hindi, Tamil, Arabic, and Farsi. The service user survey’s link: https://linktr.ee/ServiceUserSurvey
