You don't get as much control over the look and feel of your mind map as you would with say MindManager, although you can import an MindManager file. Like the same thing when you use a wiki for that? Docs are like super-simple wikis, and probably the most truly collaborative aspect of a Facebook group. Bear in mind – events can be great, but tend to get lost in the new Facebook layout. Facebook groups mostly function asynchronously, but a synchronous activity now and again can really rally the troops. Timing is key.
