All that said, a lot of nonprofits are upset by the recent changes and responding by asking their fans to add their nonprofit to an Interest Lists with the meme floating around that if you add a Facebook Page to an Interest List all their Facebook Posts will be seen in both the main News Feed and the Interest List Feed, but that’s not true.

Despite popular memes that social media is “Free!” 10) Track the growth and ROI of your online communities. Almost three years ago I wrote and published on this blog a simple system for tracking your Social Media ROI (Return on Investment). That’s not acceptable in the 21st Century.

This technique is the " hold a sign meme " where you ask your community to send photos to flickr of you (or your animal) holding a protest sign. I love the Flickr Hold A Sign Meme - but so far haven't found a great application in Facebook that allows for easy cross posting. The flickr pool of photos is here. Has anyone?
