Include your events, photos, maps, twitter link, polls, and of course, your email list. RSS as a Replacement. Enable RSS so visitors can keep up with your blog activity with Google Reader (my preference). Facebook has that nifty little app section at the top – right under the big cover photo, over to the righ.

It’s free, you can set up as many of them as you like, and you can choose to get roundups or individual alerts as well as subscribe via email or RSS. Subscribe via RSS in a reader to cut down on emails. Dashboards or RSS Readers rely heavily on RSS, or Really Simple Syndication. Community Mapping.
