The makers ranged from Eepy Bird doing their Mentos and Coke crowd pleaser to a really loud and terrifying ramjet powered ride by the Brooklyn-based Madagascar Institute (whose motto is “Safety Third”). We had over 400 makers at the Faire and 25,000 visitors in two days. The World Maker Faire was bracketed by two related events.
