Our seventh cohort includes 15 Fellows from around the country : Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. Over the next year, these fellows will be learning, sharing, designing, implementing, and challenging themselves to become digital inclusion experts who can and will transform their communities.

Here you can see how the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri uses their core number of $6.20: Erica says that the typical monthly gift across the board is about $24. Without them, young people on our waitlist continue to face the challenges that low levels of literacy create in their lives. For animal causes it’s about $22.

After the shooting of Michael Brown by the local police, the city of Ferguson, Missouri erupted in chaos, violence, and unrest. She saw a tremendous need for literacy and outreach services, particularly to the Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood, where the aftereffects of Katrina were the most devastating.
