He mentioned using Creative Commons licensed music. This made me think of some recommendations for music that Ivan Boothe mentioned recently (can't remember exactly which nonprofit tech list serv). Depending on the CC license, you should be able to use them without too much trouble. Generally CC licenses allow for use as long as it's noncommercial, you credit the source, and the license on the thing you are making with the music is also CC.
