Japan is the biggest source of tourists for Guam, with growing numbers from other Asian nations like South Korea. The Consortium is made up of six island nations, commonwealths or territories: American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas, Federated States of Micronesia (including Chuuk and Pohnpei), Guam, Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau. Although some of the island states are independent nations, they all implement U.S.

It’s the week of the United Nations General Assembly and the Clinton Global Initiative. Carol’s social enterprise in Nairobi employs over 100 students working to proofread books for our Bookshare digital library. It was the third Africa Forum I’ve attended: I went to Accra, Ghana, in 2011 and South Africa in 2004. Seoul, South Korea After an almost restful whirlwind of meetings in California, it was off to Seoul for the Eighth Assembly of the World Movement for Democracy.
