Going beyond content delivery, I also use a lot of participatory and hands-on learning techniques to help students gain a deeper understanding. If you are trying to do an interactive lecture, it stops group interaction. That’s why I always enjoy teaching in flexible classroom spaces.

This workshop was an experiment in the interactive lecture and lots of small groups. I'm always up for a conference that has been designed to be participatory and offers a creative format. The room had theatre in the round seating with couches and tables that were cafe like. My slides are here.
