When I asked her why teenage prostitution is so prevalent in Oakland, she said, "Because they can do it here. It can't happen fast enough."

Everyone is entitled to art in their life. I work with a lot of young people, and it's interesting to me that, at any given moment, you sometimes cannot measure how you impact a young person's life. I think that it's a shame, because art, I think, is a human right for anyone. Art is what helps you be a critical thinker.
