And then the fee for service is mostly school districts that contract with the Workshop for science enrichment/science instruction. How are Workshop locations selected? Scratch: An Educational, Multi-Generational Online Community that Works

Everyone is instructed not to create usernames identical to their real names. The initial NSF proposal for ScratchR focused on creating networked opportunities for teams of kids who were already using Scratch and for whom a social component would add value to their education experiences.
