The Giving USA 2011 report is out and the team at The Giving USA Foundation and the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University have given plenty of data and statistics to sift through. The largest pledged gift in 2010 was $250 million worth of art and furniture from George M. and Linda H.

In June 2021 Giving USA Foundation and partnership with the Lilly Indiana Family School of Philanthropy released their annual Giving USA report. And if you think about this pie chart, what I really want to call out is that bequests, which are about 9%, are gifts made by individuals. So for those of you who guessed B, you are correct.
