Nonprofits are often early adopters of emerging technologies, like QR codes and text-to-give, though the last innovation to have a profound impact on the sector was the telephone, James Kopp, vice president of advancement at Edmundite Missions, said. He is typically skeptical about embracing technology platforms, but finds generative artificial intelligence (AI) is different.

“It is something the likes of which I have never seen,” he said. “I haven’t early adopted anything. This is something that I'm seriously considering early adoption.”

In this episode of The NonProfit Voice Tech Series, Kopp and France Hoang, co-CEO at boodleAI, join host Mark Becker to discuss how — unlike foundational AI, such as large language models (LLMs) and generative pre-training transformers (GPTs) — mid-layer AI can solve issues specific to the nonprofit sector.

Listen to the episode to discover how AI can use your proprietary information to tailor the content it creates specifically for your organization, as well as more about boodleAI’s session at this year’s BridgeTECH, “Revolutionizing Fundraising With Artificial Intelligence: Strategies for Sustainable Impact.”
